Having a website designed and built by Archiculture is a fairly simple and hopefully painless process.
However in order for us to offer bespoke websites at the price we do, it's vital that we get the content we need from you in time to fit your website into our build schedule.
So what DO we need?
We'll ask you for images that you want included in the site design, such as your logo if applicable, products or services, or anything that your site is about. They should be of good quality and you should own the copyright to them, or be allowed to use them in a website.
We'll ask for the colours you wish to be used within the site - typically they will be colours in your logo and related or contrasting colours - but can be anything you want.
If there are websites that you like the look, style or feel of - we ask to know of them - not to copy them but to get a better idea of your tastes so we can best build your new website.
Most importantly we'll ask you for the written content – ie the words you want to appear on each page. Nobody knows your business as well as you do, so you're best placed to write about it.
Don't feel you have to write a book. (While search engines like pages with 5-600 words or more, people browsing websites tend to scan quickly picking up on headings and looking at photos)
Once we've got your content, we'll take those words, images, colours and our take on your taste and morph them through cunning photoshop artistry, coding and all manner of jiggery pokery into a small but perfectly formed website.
Hopefully a site you'll love and adore.
Nice things people say
"From start to finish I found Archiculture to be very professional and I have to say my completed website is better than the kind of site others were quoting me £800-1200 for"
Mark, Haddington
"I only wanted a basic site - every other designer I spoke to tried to upsell me some sort of dream website. Mac got it and gave me a great little 4 page site exactly as I wanted it at £45 a page. I'd highly recommend Archiculture to anyone considering getting their business on-line"
Sarah, Edinburgh
"Delighted that I found you. Alison rocks."
Sam, Manchester
